Lauren Jauregui Returns With Clear Eyes and Drew Love on 'Let Me Know'

Ending the year with another sexy slow-burner

December 4, 2019

We stan a selective Queen.

Lauren Jauregui has been picking her spots since launching her solo career, dropping two singles over the course of the past year. The former Fifth Harmony singer announced her arrival in October of 2018 with “Expectations,” and followed in January with “More Than That.” Since then, it’s be relatively quiet as she gears up to drop that debut.

However, as days tick away on 2019, Jauregui has one gift left for Jaguars.

Lauren joins Jeremy Lloyd of Marian Hill, one half of the duo behind the electro-pop hit “Down,” on the first song for his new project under the name clear eyes. Drew Love also jumps on the track “Let Me Know,” blending for a rumbling and slow-burning relationship tug-of-war, where Jauregui shines and smolders.

Back in August, Lauren put us on alert that her album will arrive in 2020, telling Billboard that she’s been hard at work in the studio putting the final touches on her LP.

“I’m so proud of the way that I’ve been able to articulate my point of view.
I’m emo, so you’re gonna get some deep, dark lyrics from my soul, but some bops too,” she said at the Teen Choice Awards red carpet. “It’s gonna be really fun.
I’m really excited to share it with the world, but I’m just kind of packaging everything and still finishing up some songs."
