Using Your Phone in the Car Could Soon Be a Thing of the Past

December 22, 2016

You’re in your car, stopped at a red light and it’s taking FOREVER! So since you’ve got some time to kill, what do you do?

Pick up your phone, and send a text. What’s going to happen? You’re at a stand still, right?

Well now, consider this scenario to possibly be a thing of the past, because authorities are looking into developing a software that will block cell signal and data usage in a moving vehicle.

Currently, meetings are happening with network providers to see how possible it is to work out this type of technology.

If you ask me, it’s about time!

I used to do a ton of commuting, and it’s always sketch AF barreling down the freeway at 70 MPH and seeing a car up ahead swerving, only to drive pass it and realize it’s someone on their phone.

It’s an accident waiting to happen!

Now I’m sure this probably could get a little inconvenient for say, getting directions on your phone, or if a passenger wants to be on their phone.

Since this is only in the beginning stages, there’s likely to be some kinks worked out.
