ABC has an air date for the season premiere of Clare Crawley's season of The Bachelorette, and it's coming surprisingly quickly and leaving me with many more questions.

On Thursday, the show tweeted out that The Bachelorette will air Tuesday, October 13 at 8|7 Central. The Graduate-inspired image shows Crawley channeling Dustin Hoffman with her suitor pulling up a sock. The promo slogan is "It's about time," either hinting at delayed production or the fact that Clare is apparently "much older" than her suitor (and I hate that they're exploiting that, but whatever).

This promo completely leaves out Tayshia Adams, who IS confirmed to have replaced Crawley as the Bachelorette lead mid-season (via PEOPLE).

So now what can we expect? Here's my theory: I'm guessing that ABC realized that this season is SUCH a mess, and we just want to see what happens with Clare's love story that they'll break it down into two parts. First, we'll get to see a mini-season with Clare this fall, and then we'll have to wait until January 2021 to see Tayshia's full season of The Bachelorette. This is just my personal THEORY - it's not confirmed. As soon as I hear more information about when we'll get to watch Tayshia's season, I'll let you know!
