Disneyland is officially allowed to reopen under these guidelines

October 20, 2020

Disneyland is officially allowed to reopen, but not without strict guidelines to continue slowing the spread of the coronavirus.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, theme parks like Disneyland and Universal Studios Hollywood received guidelines from Health and Human Services Secretary Dr. Mark Ghaly on how they'll be allowed to reopen. Under the guidelines, they can operate under Tier 4 Yellow with only 25% capacity.

Once the parks are open, a reservation system will be required, no day-of sales will be offered, and masks will be required to wear in the parks.

There is currently no reopening date set as the parks follow the phased reopening plan in California.
