Small Dog Rescued From 131-Degree Car In California

A small dog was rescued from a 131-degree car in California, and the owner faces consequences.  

According to Fox 40, a dog owner was arrested on suspicion of animal cruelty after their small dog named Boomer was discovered in a hot car in Southern California on Monday.

Boomer was heard yelping from inside the car by a passerby, who rescued him when he was no longer moving. The anonymous person attempted life-saving measures and authorities were called. 

It was determined that the temperature inside the car had reached 131 on the 99-degree day. 

Boomer's owner was located and arrested, and he is now in the care of the Ramona Humane Society.
